Hardware lands in Dublin for their first show outside of Limerick on March 15th at The Complex. This four hour improvisation featuring renowned international artists Barker & Kangding Ray alongside project founders Chaz Moloney & Brawni, this event is a St. Patricks weekend must! Outside of the main room Hardware have developed a deep sensory experience for revellers to get lost in while taking a break from the dance floor.
A visual art exhibition featuring Aisling Phelan, Aoife Ní Dhuinn, Mollie Mia Murphy & Serena Devereux will showcase sculptural and digital work to the theme of "Synthetic Artefacts". Efa O'Neill will soundscape the Ambient Lounge, a space for those looking to sink into deep lush sounds and take a moment of calm.

Shape the Future of DAS
Digital Art Studio Belfast
DAS is gathering feedback to better understand its audience, improve services, and enhance accessibility and inclusivity. This short survey, taking just 5–10 minutes, will help DAS refine its offerings, tailor opportunities to meet artists’ needs, and secure funding to continue supporting the creative community. All responses are confidential and used solely for research purposes. The survey is open to all artists, creatives, and organizations who have engaged with DAS’s services, facilities, or events.
AI Art Assembly
Beta Fest
In 2024, Beta Fest introduced a workshop concept called "Assembly", which takes a topic and interrogates it through a curated but open discussion. This years topic was "AI Art" and participants where asked to discuss future strategies and possible outcomes. Based in Limerick, Ireland the festival unfolds across a variety of venues and unique spaces, reflecting the city’s rich cultural vibrancy. Celebrating adventurous dance, film & media arts, Light Moves Festival presents vibrant experiences bridging dance, new media and screen-based practices that aim to reward and stimulate. We welcome audiences, artists and films from all over the world. Filmmakers, dance artists, choreographers and visual artists are invited to submit screendance and related media works for consideration for the forthcoming 2025 programme. The Collision Project - Open Call

The Collision Project, a collaborative initiative by Screen Service, is back in partnership with STARLING in Limerick! This project pairs early-career artists for remote, process-driven collaborations, encouraging playful experimentation. Interested artists can apply via the Google Form linked below. Three pairs will be selected by a four-artist panel, matched for shared interests and exciting contrasts. Collaboration will take place virtually over four months, starting March 2025, with developmental support from curators and STARLING. The resulting artworks will be showcased in a week-long exhibition at STARLING in July 2025.

projekte.art invites artists and interdisciplinary teams to submit digital artworks and performances for the first edition of the "Yes AI Can" festival . From September 25 to 28, 2025, the Nikolaikirche Rostock will be the venue for an art festival that combines exhibitions, performing arts and happenings. We are looking for works in the field of creation , artificial intelligence (AI) and fake news. The festival offers space for artistic projects that examine digital technologies and their interactions with space, society and theology. AI-generated works, interactive installations, audiovisual formats and performances of music, dance or theater with digital elements can be submitted. The sacred space of St. Nicholas Church forms a central reference point that invites an engagement with its spiritual and social context.

Media Art Grants at the Edith-Russ-Haus

The Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art, Oldenburg, will award three Media Art Grants of the Stiftung Niedersachsen (€12,500 each). The Stiftung Niedersachsen grant at the Edith-Russ-Haus for Media Art supports a wide spectrum of media art, from video art and net-based projects to audio works and audiovisual installations. Each of the three grants will be awarded for the production of a new project in the area of media art.

“Transition To 8: European societies in flux” - Residency Open Call

Six artists will be selected to create original visual, audiovisual or sound works, integrating the provided data (such as air quality, heart rate, body temperature and skin conductance) collected from community engagement activities in three European territories. These works will explore the societal challenges linked to air pollution and climate change. Between May and July 2025, selected artists will visit one of the three pilot cities to immerse themselves in the local context, engage with communities, host workshops and open studio days.
