Onassis AiR Open Call 2025/26

This year, the program turns towards new directions, further embracing crafts and material-based practices. Onassis AiR seeks to enrich its artistic community by welcoming creatives working in fashion, design, and applied arts, navigating the potential of cross-disciplinary collaboration and co-existence within an environment of ongoing exploration. All selected participants will receive an artist’s fee, the potential for a research/production budget, housing, travel to/from Athens, a collective budget for group site-visits and research trips, opportunities to engage with the art scene in Athens through networking events, and access to mentoring and audiovisual equipment.

Fondazione Studio Rizoma invites local and Mediterranean collaborators to submit proposals for BETWEEN LAND AND SEA 2025, set for November in Palermo. The festival explores SIGNIFICATO by examining dynamic spaces between land and sea—drawing on ideas from Deleuze and Guattari—to rethink how meaning is constructed. Proposals in arts, sciences, and architecture (installations, performances, workshops, etc.) are welcome, with production and curation support available.

This project seeks to challenge such narratives by highlighting the diversity and richness of Eastern European art, often overshadowed by the homogenizing forces of post-1989 cultural integration. Eligibility: Artistic quality and execution. Cohesion between concept and artistic expression. Thematic alignment with the exhibition’s focus on Eastern European identity. Technical feasibility of an artwork. An honorarium of €150 for each selected participant. Coverage of artwork transportation costs.

Residency at the Astronomical Observatory of Unamur

Two artists and/or collectives will be welcomed in residence (one international and one from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation – resident in Brussels or in Wallonia) in the beautiful residency studios (2 apartments that can each accommodate up to 4 people) located on the rooftop of the Delta in Namur, Belgium. Each artist (or collective) will receive a grant of €5,000 to develop a new media art or art & science project on the theme of astronomy, along with curatorial and scientific support.
Imagining Ecological Futures 2025

The residency provides a unique opportunity for visual artists and artistic researchers to work at the intersection of art, science, technology, and ecology. The aim is to foster art-driven interdisciplinary research and artistic creation that critically addresses and creatively explores ecological futures through digital and technological media.
