Concept NULL Newsletter #51
👋 Welcome
Hey folks, and welcome to #51!
We hope you're all making the most of the bank holiday weekend 🌤️
For any TouchDesigner heads that haven’t picked up a ticket for the Ireland meetup yet, now’s the time - they’re moving quickly! Concept Null and Pauric Freeman are also putting together a beginners’ workshop in Dublin later this month - Perfect for anyone who wants to get involved but is at the start of their TouchDesigner learning journey. Details announce very soon.
We also want to remind people that the Multidisciplinary Arts Bursary Award - Round 2 is open now (fin₫ it later in the newsletter) which is one of the first awards available under the new Multidisciplinary Discipline. This discipline is thought to cater for the needs of New Media artists in Ireland which is yet to be seen but one thing is clear, the more projects handed in with an art and technology nature, the more this award will cater for those needs. So we advocate for any of you: Dust off that project you’ve shelfed for so long and apply!
Also on this note, we have a special Discord Monthly Meet Up coming up as the Head of Multidisciplinary Arts at the Arts Council, Aideen McCole has been so kind as to offer to jump on and answer any questions people might have. So if you have any questions or are interested to tune into what gets talked about, join us on the 3rd of June at 7pm GMT on the Digital Artist Ireland Discord, over on the Monday Meet Ups voice channel.
As always, feel free to reach out to us at conceptnullofficial@gmail.com ( :
Until next time!
