Happy 2026, and we hope everyone had a not so stressful start to the new year!
For this month, we have some exciting news to share:
The TouchDesigner Meetup Dublin Event, in collaboration with TOG Hackerspace, will continue until June this year!
Derivative has kindly offered to sponsor the series heading into this year! ❤️ So a huge thank you to everyone involved to make this happen 🤘
The event will be run by the same group of organisers, but under a new name: NóidLab —Give them a follow!
The first session in this series will be held on the 28th of January @ TOG Hackerspace, starting at 7PM. If you want to pop in and say hi to the community, or to learn more about TouchDesigner, feel free to come along--no matter your level of experience. More information below!

Alongside this, the Arts Council are seeking interest from artist and arts professionals to join their peer panel for accessing applications, which obviously plays a key role in decisions on funding applications. We want to encourage people in the New Media sphere to apply, if you have the capacity to do so! Link can be found down below in the Open Call section (^^ゞ

TouchDesigner Meetup Dublin @ TOG Hackerspace

The TouchDesigner Monthly Meetup series with TOG Hackerspace will continue into 2026 for 6 months, thanks to the support of Derivative. They’re also introducing NóidLab, the new collective of organisers and practitioners the events will run under. Join their creative technology community via Discord or contact noidlab.collective@gmail.com to get involved. The meetups are hosted each month by a group of artists and creative technologists:
For the first set of demonstrations will be run by two of our organisers—Ciaran & Serdar. Ciaran will focus on utilising POPs to manipulate 3D models created with 2D images. Following this, Serdar will be demonstrating how to build a digital instrument using TouchDesigner and MediaPipe.

Studio Light Moves Open Futures 2026
