Concept NULL Newsletter #72
đ Welcome
We hope everyone is keeping well ( :
Itâs hit that time of year where everything is in motion; so lots of different opportunities and events popping up over the summer. Enjoy!
We are currently testing a new system for how we collect and process the events/opportunities we share. The system uses a (small) language model to process, extract, and structure information for a given URL, which is then added to our database and checked by the team. The system is fully open-source and doesnât depend on cloud infrastructure; running on local hardware. More information can be found here (https://git.fioruil.ie/cailean/null-bot).
We are always open to feedback, suggestions or anything else, so get on on to us at conceptnullofficial@gmail.com

Human Presentation With Eryk Salvaggio | Slow AI Festival - AIxDesign

Eryk Salvaggio examines which aspects of cognition are replaced by AI and what remains uniquely human, using six metaphors: temperature, creativity, recognition, memory, reason, and the unmodeled. The performance invites active dialogue over passive viewing, revealing the value of interpretation, fallibility, and presence â qualities that resist reduction to algorithmic processes.
